She is the great-granddaughter of Zaven Termenjyan, an honored artist of the USSR, renowned composer and qanun virtuoso, and Tiruhi Hakobyan, a former qanun soloist of the Tatul Altunyan Armenian Song and Dance State Ensemble. Growing up surrounded by music, art, and the stage, she developed a passion for creative expression from an early age. At the age of seven, she began studying piano at the Alexander Spendiaryan Music School. During her years of study, she participated in numerous concerts and competitions, including the Piano Etude Competition, where she received multiple certificates and diplomas in recognition of her performances. In 2016, Leelith joined the pop-rock group Decibelle at TUMO Center for Creative Technologies as a singer-songwriter and pianist. The group’s music received praise from internationally acclaimed artists including Serj Tankian and Yevgeny Krylatov. As a songwriter, Leelith writes and composes her own music. One of her original songs reached the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Contest, one of the world’s most respected songwriting competitions. She also participated in a workshop led by acclaimed cellist and bassist Artyom Manukyan, later sharing the stage with him in a joint performance. Leelith later became part of the Nvak Foundation, where she worked within the team of Armenian-American singer-songwriter Tamar Kaprelian alongside music professionals from the United States, including Andrew Fox and Evan Feist. Later in 2024, she reunited with Carpet Jam to create the Armenian version of Sweet Dreams.
