Meet Leelith, an indie singer-songwriter who pours her personal stories and unfiltered emotions into every track. With an acoustic embrace and introspective lyrics, Leelith creates a genuine and intimate connection through her music by telling stories of life's ups and downs.
Influenced by the soulful rhythms of Amy Winehouse, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder, Leelith is a versatile artist skilled in piano, vocals, guitar, and ukulele, seamlessly blending Jazz, R&B/Soul, Pop, and Pop-rock into her repertoire.
Her musical journey began with studies in piano, music theory, and music literature at the Alexander Spendiaryan Music School in Yerevan. Throughout these formative years, Leelith graced various competitions and concerts, excelling in the "Piano Etude Competition", garnering certificates and diplomas for her performance.
In 2005, Leelith took the stage in beauty contests such as "Miss Yerevan" in Armenia, earning the first prize.
In 2016, she joined the pop-rock girl-band, Decibelle as a singer-songwriter and pianist. As the band's singer-songwriter and piano player, the band's songs caught the ears of industry luminaries like Serj Tankian ( System of a Down ), Yevgeny Krylatov (Soviet and Russian film composer) and many more. One of her original compositions reached the semi-finals in the 2016 International Songwriting Contest (USA).
Leelith delved into collaborations with esteemed musicians for compositions in both English and Armenian, while also engaging in brand collaborations for promotions.
In 2016, she participated in a masterclass with cellist, bassist Artyom Manukyan at TUMO Center for Creative Technologies.
In 2018, Leelith joined Nvak Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering developing artists worldwide through world-class education and mentorship. During her time with Nvak, Leelith focused on learning songwriting, music production, received coaching for vocals and performing arts.
Her mentors, including Tamar Kaprelian, Courtney Harrell , Andrew Fox, Evan Feist, and Ethan Mentzer, further shaped her artistic vision and prowess.
